PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's soccer program were on the ropes against a speedy Our Lady of the Lake squad, down by one for most of the second half, but a PK score from the Spanish Striker with just under four minutes remaining made sure that the Cats would not walk away empty-handed in a 1-1 draw.

- Sergio Pita Martin rescued the Wildcats from a potential shutout, fooling the goalkeeper with a misdirection penalty kick goal, tying the score at one with just two minutes and 52 seconds left in the ballgame.
- It was Pita Martin's team-leading 12th score of 2023 and his second PK goal in as many tries, coming into the week tied for the Red River Athletic Conference's top spot for goals.
- On the afternoon, Sergio led all players with five shots.
- Rodrigo Silva disallowed three potential goals while letting just one slip through his grasp, making for a save percentage of 75%.
Notes:
- The home side saw the stats decisively tilted in their favor, but trailed the majority of the contest, outshooting the Saints 25-7 (8-4 SOG) and taking a week's worth of corner kicks more than OLLU (9-2).
