TYLER, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University volleyball program fell behind by a score of 13-4 in the third set and its sweep was in serious jeopardy, but the Wildcats stormed all the way back, outscoring Texas College 21-4 the rest of the way to slam the door shut and ruin part of the Homecoming festivities.

- Aniah Adams was a woman on a mission Friday night, clubbing a match-best 12 kills (4.00 p/s) with just one errors for a .440 hitting percentage, while also pitching in five digs (1.67 p/s) and a solo block.

- Emma Cother had as well-rounded an outing as one could have, setting season and game-highs for service aces (5), a 2023-most seven points (2.33 p/s), 15 assists (5.00 p/s), a week's worth of digs (7, 2.33 p/s) plus a pair of kills.

- Leah Stamps led the group of 11 different players to record at least one dig, going for eight (2.67 p/s) on top of a season-most three points / aces.

- Jessica Smith was the primary setter for a good portion of the match and rewarded Coach Salloum with a campaign-high dozen assists (4.00 p/s) in addition to her third kill this year.

- Kierra Jones was the second leading attacker at six kills (2.00 p/s) and was one of two Cats to swat down multiple blocks joining Julie Bordeau.

- The Orange and Blue had by far their best hitting performance of the year, smacking 40 kills over 104 attacks compared to just 13 errors for a percentage north of 25% (.260).
