CONWAY, Arkansas - The Louisiana Christian University men's soccer team suffered its first loss of the 2022 season. Central Baptist scored two goals in the first half and followed with a third in the second half on their way to a 3-1 victory Saturday.
The Wildcats scored a goal in the 72nd minute as
Jeronimo Larrain Olivares was assisted by
Lucas Lima.
LCU had equal opportunity to score as they totaled 6 shots (5 on goal) in comparison to the Mustangs 7 (4 on goal).
The men will open up Red River Athletic Conference play with a game against Huston-Tilotson University Thursday, Sept. 22 and the University of Houston-Victoria Saturday, Sept. 24. Both of the games will be played at home on Wildcat field.
