Box Score Louisiana College got a goal from Val Rodriguez to start the Lady off with a 1-0 lead Saturday, but it wouldn't hold up as Howard Payne came back to take the American Southwest Conference contest 2-1.
The loss dropped LC to 1-7-1 on the season, with an ASC record of 0-4. HPU is now 5-6-1 and 1-3.
LC takes to the road for contest Oct. 10, at LeTourneau and Oct. 12, at East Texas Baptist.
