Wildcats Offense Sputters in Loss to Comets



The Louisiana College women were  once again on the road as they traveled to Richardson, Texas to take on the UT Dallas Comets. The Wildcats failed to get much going offensively as they fell short 77-40. They return to the court next Tuesday to resume conference play at Belhaven. 
 
While being able to go an impressive 8-for-12 from the free throw line in the first half, the Lady Wildcats struggled to find any rhythm while only going 6-for-21 from the field. Matters were no better as they ladies could not get anything going from the three, only managing to go 1-for-5 from deep. The bad luck resulted with the Wildcats being in a 42-21 hole at the half. 
 
Looking to turn things around after half didn't go to plan as the Wildcats were only able to muster up 19 total points of offense and they finished with a 77-40 loss. Senior Kourtney McGhee was up to her usual antics as she scored 24 points in the game. 
 
The road trip continues for the Lady Wildcats as they travel to Jackson, Miss looking for an important conference win against Belhaven University.
