After a much needed victory last week over a solid Belhaven team, the Louisiana College Wildcat men's basketball team has an opportunity to jump into mix of the ASC East race if they can get the wins they need over Ozarks and UT Dallas. Despite still searching for their first conference win in mid-January, LC can move into fourth in the East standings as they are just one game behind both Ozarks and Dallas in the standings entering the weekend.

Ozarks | 6-9 (1-8)  5th ASC East

5142The Eagles have lost their last two games in a row to East leading LeTourneau and UT Tyler, and five of their last six games overall. They have one conference win thus far on the season, a 104-92 victory in their first ASC game of the season over Mary Hardin-Baylor. Even with the low conference win total Ozarks has one of the most potent offenses in the conference, ranking second in scoring at 88.0 points per game, but rank near the bottom in scoring defense allowing 92.1 points to their opponents. The offense is led by the conferences top scorer, Josh Berard, who puts in an average of 24.9 points per game, the only player in the ASC averaging 20 plus points per game. The Eagles have two other players in double digits scoring on the season, Jace Richardson with 19.3 ppg, third best in the conference, and Dylan Gray with 15.5 points per game. The team is shooting 45.5% from the floor and 72.5% from the free throw line.
