Kourtney Herrera set the table for another double, this time by pinch hitter
Jade Johnson to give LC the 1-0 lead late in the game. The Lady Wildcats would eventually load the bases in the same inning with only 1-out but were unable to get the hit to fall for them and left the bags full.
LeTourneau led off their half of the 7th with a double, just as the Wildcats did in the 6th, but they would get the hit to fall later in the inning with runners on first and second, Kelsie Benson hit a double into right center that scored both runners and gave the Lady Jackets a 3-1 lead mid way through the 7th. In the bottom of the inning LC would mount a rally of their own after
Jordan Mason led off the inning with single and a 1-out walk to Herrera.
Kelsey Kelly perfectly placed a double down the right field line that scored Mason to make the game 3-2 and put the winning run in scoring position for the Wildcats. Both runners would be left on base as
Jayde Westbrook popped up to 3rd to end the game for the Lady Wildcats.
