Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Savannah Settle gave up 4 hits and no runs as she led the Wildcats to an Opening Day win on the road vs. Millsaps.  Mattie Stine, Abby Maillet, and Ellen Bairnsfather each had an RBI, helping the Wildcats win 4-0.  Heather Simmons also went 3-3 at the plate.

Game 2 was a different story.  With both teams combining for 20 hits and 14 runs, it was far different from game 1's pitching duel.  Jessica Johnson had two RBI's, and Jayde Westbrook, Heather Simmons, Kourtney Herrera, each added an RBI a piece.  Millsaps bats woke up in game 2; however, adding 14 hits, scoring 9 runs, and with the help of 3 errors from the Lady Cats, gave LC their first loss of the season 9-5. 

The Wildcat softball team play 4 games in two days in Austin, TX vs. Concordia University Texas on February 12th and 13th.  They will have their home opener on February 19th at 4:00 p.m. vs. University of the Ozarks.
