The Louisiana College men's soccer played their best match of the season on Sunday afternoon in the final day of the Puma Labor Day Classic in Birmingham, Alabama, dropping a 1-0 decision in overtime to host Birmingham-Southern at Preston Goldfarb Field.
 
The Wildcats played a gritty first half, where they were able to hold the Panthers scoreless despite BSC getting off 13 shots in the first 45 minutes.
 
The two teams would then both go scoreless in the second half to send the match to overtime.
 
After the first nine minutes of overtime saw both teams go scoreless once again, the Panthers were able to score the game-winning goal with less than a minute left when Dallas Coyne snuck the ball in the back of the net to give BSC the final 1-0 decision.
 
The Wildcats fall to 0-3 on the season. They will be in action again at home on September 15^th against LSU-Alexandria.
