The Louisiana College Lady Wildcats made history on Friday afternoon at Wildcat Field, as their 2-0 win over Millsaps College moved them to 2-0 on the young season, their first such start in school history.

The Lady Wildcats got on the board first in the 23^rd minute when Jayme Harmon sent a beautiful pass from near midfield towards sophomore McKenzie Bodin, who then rifled the ball into the back of the net to give LC a 1-0 lead, which they carried into halftime.

Harmon then struck again in the 72^nd minute of the match in the second half when she headed in her third goal of the season to put LC ahead 2-0.
 
LC's backline, led by senior standout Taylor Bergeron, took care of business from there, as they shutout Millsaps the rest of the way to secure the 2-0 win.
 
Freshman keeper Haley Clark recorded the first shutout of her young career, as she recorded four saves to blank the Majors.

The Lady Cats will take on in-state rival Centenary on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Wildcat Field to conclude their three-game home stand to begin the season.
