The Louisiana College men's soccer team dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 decision on Friday afternoon in Abilene, Texas, as an own goal by the Wildcats was the difference in a road loss to the Hardin-Simmons Cowboys.
 
The own goal by the Wildcats came in the 32^nd minute of the first half and was the eventual game-winner for HSU.
 
The Wildcat defense was able to hold up throughout the match, as they did not allow HSU to score despite being outshot 18-4 on the afternoon and having just two corner kicks compared to eight for the Cowboys.
 
The loss drops LC to 0-7 overall and 0-3 in ASC play. The Wildcats will take on McMurry on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Abilene, Texas.
