The Louisiana College Wildcats fell 5-0 in their season opener to Texas College on Tuesday night at Wildcat Field, as the Steers' powerful offensive attack was too much for LC to overcome in the second half.

The Steers would take a 1-0 lead into halftime as Azar Orgo scored the only goal of the first half on a penalty kick in the 31^st minute to give TC the early advantage.
 
TC would then jump out ahead 2-0 less than three minutes into the second half Erick Trigueros scored in the 48^th minute to give the visitors a two goal advantage.
 
Trigueros and Orgo would both score again in the 59^th and 79^th minute before Malik Montague scored the final goal of the match in the 86^th minute to put the game away and secure a 5-0 win for Texas College.
 
The Steers finished with a 20-2 advantage in shots, as their offensive attack was strong all night long.

The Wildcats will play again on Friday at 5 p.m. against Millsaps in the Puma Labor Day Classic in Birmingham, Alabama.
