LC would score their first runs in game one on a Matie Stine RBI single down the right field line that drove in
Jayde Westbrook and Regan Lejeune to take a 2-0 lead.
The Lady Cats would add another in the third on an RBI single from Scully and two more in the fourth on RBIs from Scully and
Jordan Mason to go up 5-0 for the eventual final.
Katherine Johnson was equally as impressive in the circle in game two, tossing a one-hit shutout to pace the Lady Cats in an 8-0 win.

Mattie Stine launched her first career home run in the fourth inning to highlight the day for LC.

Kate Hines got the scoring started in the first inning with an RBI single to center field to put LC up 1-0.
Stine's mammoth home run in the fourth gave LC a 4-0 lead and was followed with another RBi from Hines in the ffth and a three-run frame in the sixth that gave LC the 8-0 run rule win.
The Lady Cats, now 6-1 overall and 5-0 in ASC play, will take on Concordia in the series finale on Saturday. That game has been moved up to 11 a.m. due to weather concerns in the areas.
