The Lobos came out on fire in the first half, hitting 16 of their 24 shots (66.7%) in the first half, including an incredible 6-for-7 performance from beyond the three-point line to go into the half with a 43-31 lead.

The Wildcats, who shot 50% (14-for-28) in the first half, repeated their performance in the second half by once again going 14-for-28 from the field in the final twenty minutes, but it was not enough to catch the Lobos as Sul Ross came away with the nine point win in conference play.

Anthony Gaines, Jr. led LC with 19 points while grabbing 6 rebounds and recording 5 assists.

Steve Evans (10 points, 7 rebounds) and
Raheem Regis (14 points) also reached double figures in scoring for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats (2-7 overall, 1-3 in ASC play) will not play again until December 30
th, when they step up in competition to take on Division I opponent Alcorn State on the road.
