Three first half goals were enough for Howard Payne to claim a 4-1 win over the Louisiana College men's soccer team on Saturday in Brownwood, as the Wildcats' 2015 season came to a close.

Alex Sanchez registered the first goal of the match in the 20th minute of the first half on an assist from Tracer Moore to put HPU ahead 1-0. Sanchez then assisted Ruben Lemus on a goal in the 24th minute to extend the lead to 2-0.

Moore would then drive home a penalty kick in te 30th minute to give HPU a 3-0 advantage heading into halftime.

The Wildcats would get their only goal of the match in the 57th minute of the second half on an unassisted goal from Boneco Bazil.

LC ends the regular season 1-15-1 overall.
