The Cowboys, who were playing for a share of the 2015 American Southwest Conference title, were too much for the Wildcats, as they rolled up 680 yards of total offense and had 33 first downs to lock up a spot in the 2015 NCAA Playoffs.

HSU started off the game with a bang, as senior receiver Jesse Ramos returned the opening kickoff of the game 88 yards for a touchdown to give the Cowboys a 6-0 lead just 13 seconds in.

The Cowboys would score on their next three possessions to take a 27-0 lead early in the second quarter before the Wildcats scored their first touchdown of the game, a 55 yard touchdown strike from
Easton Melancon to sophomore receiver
Lawrence Williams to make the score 27-7 with 12 minutes left until halftime.

But HSU's offense was too strong on the afternoon, as they scored touchdowns on all of nine of their first half possessions to take a 61-7 lead into the locker room at halftime.

LC would score twice in the second half on a 25 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown by freshman defensive tackle
Chris Carter and a 38 yard touchdown run by
Brett Sylve.

Williams would finish the day with a  career-high 106 receiving yards while Sylve led the Wildcats on the ground for the second consecutive game with 62 rushing yards.

LC finishes the year 3-7 overall.
