The Wildcats would hold tough the rest of the half, carrying that 1-0 lead into the locker room after 45 minutes of inspired defensive play.
The Tigers would even things up late in the second half, however, as Danilo Martins scored the tying goal in the 76
th minute off an assist from Brett Forbus to even the score at 1-1.
Both teams would hold throughout most of the second, but it was ETBU who would breakthrough in the end, as Pedro Guerra heeled in a match-clinching goal in the 88
th minute to stun the Wildcats and give the Tigers their second conference win of the season.
The loss drops the Wildcats to 1-11 overall and 0-5 in ASC play. The Wildcats will take on traditional ASC power Texas-Tyler on Thursday at home at Wildcat Field in a conference matchup scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.Â
