The Louisiana College men's soccer team finished their impressive run in pre-ASC play with a 4-1 win over the LeTourneau Yellow Jackets on Saturday afternoon to complete their final weekend road trip before conference play begins next week.

LeTourneau would grab an early 1-0 lead in the 10th minute of the first half with an Adam Schultz unassisted goal.

But just as they have all season long, the Wildcats had an answer, as they scored four unanswered goals the rest of the way to run away with their fourth win of the season.

Cesar Romo tied things up in the 18th minute with a goal off an assist from Matheus Carvalho after Carvalho provided a beautful corner kick to set up Romo's third goal of the season.

Pedro Silva would then give LC the lead seven minutes before the half when Fernando Gutierrez hit Silva with a pass before the sophomore forward drilled a shot off the right post and into the net from 18 yards out.

Carvalho would then continue his outstanding afternoon in the second half, as he assisted sophomore forwrad Rodrigo Neves on a header for Neves' team-leading fifth goal of the season to make the score 3-1 in the 76th minute.

Carvalho would add his third assist of the match on another corner kick, this one finished off on a header by Micah Taylor in the 86th minute to give LC the 4-1 lead and teh eventual final score.

The road trip brought LC's season record to 4-3-1, but more importantly, it gives them a 4-1-1 record against Divison III regional opponents before conference play begins on Friday October 3rd against Mary Hardin-Baylor at home. That match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
