The Lady Cats busted the game open in the top of the third inning with a two-run home run from first baseman
Sandra Ouchley and a three-run home run from freshman designated hitter
Kimber Gruehl. It was Gruehl's first career home run for LC and highlighted an eight hit, eight run inning that all but secured the win for the Lady Wildcats.
