The Louisiana College men's basketball team fell to in-state Division I opponent Northwestern State 94-68 on Wednesday afternoon in Natchitoches to close out 2014.

The Wildcats, playing for the first time in nearly two weeks, were led by junior forward Anthony Gaines, Jr. who scored a game-high 23 points, grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds and blocked four shots.

LC, now 3-4 on the season, will resume conference action when they take on Hardin-Simmons on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Abilene, TX.
