The Louisiana College men's soccer team fell to Hardin-Simmons 3-1 in ASC action against the Hardin-Simmons on Friday afternoon in Abilene, TX, as part of the final weekend of the regular season for the Wildcats.

The Cowboys used three second half goals to take the win and put LC in a must-win scenario for the final regular season match on Saturday.

LC's Nick Luneau, normally a defensive star for the Wildcats, gave his team a much needed early offensive lift, as he found the back of the net in the 30th minute off an assist from Matheus Fullini to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead.

The Wildcats would go into the half still holding on to that 1-0 lead, but it would not last long, as HSU's Matt Pitcock and Kevin McNeal would both score in the first five minute of the second half to give the Cowboys their first lead of the match in the 50th minute at 2-1.

Junior Crawford would then score the Cowboys final goal of the match in the 75th minute when he scored on an assist from Momo Diallo to make the score 3-1, which was the eventual final.

The loss dropped LC's record to 6-8-4 overall with a 1-4-3 mark in ASC play, which means that the Wildcats must win on Saturday when they take on Howard Payne at 3:00 p.m. in Brownwood, TX to have a chance to make next weekend's ASC Tournament.
That Match against the Yellow Jackets will be regular season finale for the Wildcats.
