The Louisiana College Lady Wildcats played one of their best first halves of the season, but an early second half goal by ETBU's Natalie Torres gave the Lady Tigers a 2-1 win over LC on Friday night in Marshall, TX. 

The Lady Tigers got the first goal of the night when Kendall Harris scored off of a throw in, sneaking the ball into the net to put the Lady Tigers up 1-0 in the 22nd minute. 

The Lady Wildcats would step up, however, as Jayme Harmon stole the ball from 50 feet out and scored the game-tying goal, putting the ball past ETBU keeper Christina Salas to equal the score 1-1. 

Playing inspired defense the rest of the first half, the match went into halftime tied 1-1. 

However, the Lady Tigers's Natalie Torres would receive a pass from Kaydi Joa Smith after a scrum in front of the net and score the go-ahead, and eventually game-winning goal in the 53rd minute to give ETBU the win. 

The loss drops LC's record to 2-12 overall, 1-6 in ASC play, while ETBU greatly improved their chances at clinching a spot in the ASC tournament with the win to move to 6-5-2 overall and 2-3-2 in ASC play. 

The Lady Cats will get a rare Saturday off before playing their last home match of the season on Monday against McMurry at 4 p.m. at Wildcat Field.
