Both teams were held scoreless in the first half until Ozarks' Layne Garcia broke the scoreless tie with an unassisted goal in the 54
th minute to put the Eagles up 1-0.

Thomas Mills would put the Eagles up 2-0 nine minutes later with a goal off an assist from Antonio Ramos.

Ozarks would get their final goal in the 76
th minute when Matt Weaver fired a shot into the back of the net when the ball deflected off of LC keeper
Travis Alexander while Alexander was trying to recover the ball outside of the box.

The Wildcats would put pressure on the Eagles' defense late when
Fernando Gutierrez put home his first goal of the season in the 87
th minute, but the rally came too late as the Wildcats fell 3-1 to lose their first match in conference play.

LC (5-4-4, 1-1-3) will take on perennial ASC power Texas-Dallas at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday in Wildcat Stadium as part of Senior Day activities for the Wildcats.
