After opening their 2013 season with two wins on Friday night in the Louisiana College Round Robin Tournament, the Lady Wildcats fall 11-3 to Mary Hardin-Baylor in their first game on Saturday.

UMHB held a 2-0 lead until the top of the 5th inning until LC scored two to tie the game on back-to-back throwing errors by Crusader shortstop Brittany Moreno. 

Moreno would have her revenge in the bottom of the 5th inning, however, as her three-run homer off the top of the center field wall gave UMHB the lead right back 5-2. 

LC would fight back to make it 5-3 in the top of the 6th with an Emorie Nugent RBI single to score Courtney Ivey, but that was as close as the Lady Wildcats would get, as the Crusaders scored six runs in the bottom of the 6th, highlighted by a walk-off grand slam from Caitlin Bollier.

LC and Millsaps played in the nightcap of the tournament, but a power outage in the right field light tower in the third inning caused the game to be suspended. It is not scheduled to be played at a future date. 

The Lady Wildcats, now 2-1 will take the field again this weekend in the ASC First Pitch Tournament in Farmer's Branch, Tx.
