Box Score
After an undefeated weekend road swing, the Louisiana College men's soccer team picked up where it left off with an impressive 4-0 shutout win over the LeTourneau Yellow Jackets on Thursday night at Wildcat Field.

The Wildcats wasted no time getting on the board as freshman
Rodrigo Neves scored on a header just four minutes into the match off of a perfectly timed cross from
Caleb Sutter. It was Neves' fifth goal of the season, as he continues to emerge as of the ASC's top freshmen.

Caio Sousa would then knock home his fourth goal of the season in the 35
th minute off of a corner kick from
Ruben Mendoza.
Renato Neves would add one more goal right before the end first half, in the 44
th minute, when he scored off a beautiful assist from
Fabian Rosado.

LC's final goal would come in the 84
th minute when
Fellipe Albuquerque scored off an assist from freshman
Greg McDoom.

The Wildcats' defense was rock solid as well, particularly in the second half as they were able to get a huge boost defensively from sophomore
Tempson Marc, who came off of the bench in the first half and provided the spark that head coach
Prince Borde was looking for.

The win brought LC's record to 6-5 on the year, and a perfect 3-0 record in ASC play to keep them atop the conference standings. The Wildcats will welcome perennial ASC power Texas-Tyler (3-0-4) to Pineville on Saturday in a match schedule to begin at 3 p.m. at Wildcat Field.
