Box Score
In what will go down as one of the most thrilling and unbelievable comebacks in Louisiana College history, the Wildcats were able to score two goals in the final seven minutes of Thursday's matchup against #9 UT-Dallas to take a 3-2 victory over the Comets.

After the first 29 minutes of the match went scoreless, the Wildcats were able to go ahead 1-0 with a Zach White header goal inside the box off of a free kick from Phillip Borde. It was White's first goal of the season.

The Comets would answer before the half  as Lukas Teese scored on a header following a corner kick by Sam Konstanty to tie the match 1-1.

UTD's Omar Jouron would then give the Comets a 2-1 lead in the 65th minute when he fired a shot into the back of the net after a series of deflections right around the goal.

The Comets appeared to have the match in hand following Jouron's 10th goal of the season, but the Wildcats had an answer in the final minutes of the contest when Rodrigo Neves' was able to score one of the most beautiful goals of the season in the 84th minute. Neves snuck behind the Comet defense, handled a perfectly executed cross from Phillip Borde and fired a shot past Comet keeper Steven Nicknish to tie the match 2-2.

It was Neves' team-leading sixth goal of the season, and set up one of the most thrilling finishes yet seen in the American Southwest Conference during the 2013 season.

With the match still tied 2-2 and headed to almost certain overtime, Pedro Silva handled a pass from Neves and fired it past Nicknish with less than a minute remaining to give LC the 3-2 lead and the match victory.

The loss was the first of the season for the ninth-ranked Comets, as they fell to 11-1-3.

For the Wildcats, the win was the first ever in school history against a nationally ranked opponent and moved their season record to 9-7 overall and 6-2 in ASC play. That 6-2 mark places the Cats in three-way tie for second place in the ASC standings with Hardin-Simmons (4-0-4 in ASC), and UT-Dallas (5-1-2 in ASC).

The Wildcats will have a chance to stake their claim to one of the six coveted spots in the ASC Tournament with a senior day matchup against The Ozarks at home on Friday and a season finale matchup next Saturday against ASC leader Mississippi College (10-3-2 overall, 5-0-2 in ASC play).
