LC Football vs. Belhaven Broadcast Information and Pre-Game Notebook

Rich Dupree (play-by-play) and Bryar Barton (color analyst) will be broadcasting Saturday's game, which begins at 7 p.m., live locally on 106.9 FM. Dupree will be returning to the booth after missing last week's game against Webber International with an illness.

- The game will be played at H.T. Newell Field in Jackson, Miss. at 7 p.m. CST. The Wildcats come into the game with a 1-0 record after a 34-16 victory last week over Webber International. the Blazers. a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) member, come into the game with an 0-1 record after a 21-10 loss to the University of the Cumberlands last week.

- LC won last season's contest against Belhaven in the home opener by a 32-24 final score. The game was played under harsh weather conditions and a torrential downpour. Justin Usey caught the game-winning touchdown of that game in overtime on a 25 yard touchdown pass from Jamie Bunting.

- This will be LC's final game before their bye week, which will be followed by their home opener against nationally ranked Wesley on September 22.

- Sophomore defensive end Preston Thibeaux was named the ASC's Defensive Player of the week after last Saturday's breakout performance, which inlcuded 6 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks.

- Sophomore running back Ryan Montague is also coming off a huge game against WIU, where he ran 21 times for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns.

- Senior wide receiver Cortland Bell had the biggest game of his career against WIU, recording his first career 100 yard game and adding his first touchdown since the 2010 season, scoring on a 55 yard strike from Jamie Bunting.

- Senior defensive end Logan Bonnette will be making his season debut after missing last week's game with a mandatory suspension dating back to last season's ejection in the season finale against Hardin-Simmons.
