The Lady Wildcats, coming off of a disappointing loss last week to Mississippi College, suffered their 4th loss of the season on Thursday night with a 12-0 defeat at the hands of longtime American Southwest Conference powerhouse Hardin-Simmons. 

HSU started off hot, leading 5-0 at halftime, and kept the pressure on throughout, outscoring LC 7-0 in the second half to come away with the victory. 

The news was not all so bad for Bruce Deaton's squad, however, as they were able to check 30 players into the game. That experience against a high quality opponent could prove to be very valuable in conference play down the stretch. 

The Lady Wildcats, now 3-4 on the season and 0-2 in ASC play, were originally scheduled to play Howard Payne in an ASC matchup Friday night, but will now take on HPU at 11 a.m. Saturday morning.
