As always, you can catch Rich Dupree's call of the LC vs. Wesley College game locally only on 105.5 K-BUCK.

- Wesley College has made an appearance in the Division 3 National Playoffs every year since 2005. That includes semifinal appearances in 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010, and 2011. The Wolverines also made the Quaterfinals in 2007 and the second round in 2008.
 
- In 2012, the Wolverines play 3 American Southwest Conference members: ETBU, Mary Hardin-Baylor, and Louisiana College. Wesley defeated ETBU 34-14 on September 1 and was defeated by #4 Mary Hardin-Baylor 32-15 on September 15.

- LC is coming off of a bye week. They defeated Belhaven University 24-13 the week before (September 8)
 
- Wesley is the 2nd opponent this season that the Wildcats are facing for the 1st time. They defeated the other, Webber International (Fla.) 34-16 on September 1.
 
- With his 170 yard performance against Belhaven, sophomore running back Ryan Montague moved into 3rd place all-time in career 100 yard rushing game at LC with 5. Leon Maxie (8) and Wayne Davis (13) rank #2 and #1, respectively.
