The Louisiana College women fell to UT-Dallas 3-0 on Thursday night in Richardson, Tx. as part of their final American Southwest Conference road swing of the season.
 
The Lady Wildcats, who UTD scoreless through the first 56 minutes of the match by way of a strong defensive effort, were unable to keep the Comets off the scoreboard in the second half.
 
UTD's Emily Hokanson was able to knock home two goals against LC in a three minute stretch in the second half to put the Comets ahead for good. Juli Saba put another goal home with less than two minutes left in the contest  make up the 3-0 final.
 
Despite the loss, LC looked much better against UTD, who will be making their 11^th consecutive ASC tournament appearance, than they did a season ago, when they got off just one shot on goal (and one shot overall) compared to UTD's 22 shots on goal.
 
The difference between those two numbers was almost split in half in Thursday's match.
 
The Lady Wildcats will have an opportunity to close out ASC play on a good note as they travel to Clarksville, Ark. on Saturday to take on the University of the Ozarks, who will come into the match with a 1-10 ASC record (1-16 overall).
 
That match will start at 1 p.m. CST.
