PINEVILLE, La. – The Wildcats dropped their fourth straight here Thursday night, falling 82-64 to the red-hot Hardin-Simmons Cowboys.

LC (4-5, 4-4 ASC) was solid offensively, shooting 42 percent from the field and 32 percent from the three-point line but Hardin-Simmons (10-1, 7-1 ASC) shot 49 percent from the field, 44 percent from the three-point line and 76 percent at the charity stripe to secure the win.

Louisiana College was also outrebounded 42-29 on the night.

A pair of Wildcats did have solid nights, however, as senior Korey Salmon and sophomore Doc Welch scored 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Junior Derrick Gardner scored six points and blocked four shots in the game.

Hardin-Simmons was led by ASC leading scorer Matt Addison with 29 points and seven assists.

LC returns to action Saturday at 3 p.m. with a conference home game against McMurry.
