Centenary Box Score / Central Baptist Box Score
PINEVILLE, La. - The Louisiana College defense was stout but a lack of goals spelt losses for the Lady Cats in soccer action this week. Thursday, LC fell 3-0 to Centenary and Saturday dropped a 1-0 decision to Central Baptist.

Versus Centenary, the Lady Cats faced 12 shots on goal with junior goalie Emily Breaux making nine saves but a goal apiece by Courtney Cleveland, Candace Rushing and Traci Lee was enough to give Centenary the win.

Versus Central Baptist, Katy Baldridge scored an unassisted goal in the 17th minute and the Louisiana College could not respond.

In that contest, the Lady Cats got off five shots but could put none in the back of the net.

Breaux finished that contest with 15 saves.

The Central Baptist game wrapped up a homstand for LC. Next week, the Lady Cats wil travel to Abilene, Texas, for games against conference foes McMurry and Hardin-Simmons.

LC will play McMurry at 2 p.m. on Friday then face Hardin-Simmons, the defending D-III national champs, at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
