The Louisiana College women's soccer team made great strides in 2011 but fell to touugh road opponents to end their season.

The Lady Cats fell 5-0 to Texas-Tyler Thursday night and 4-0 to Concordia Saturday afternoon.

Junior keeper Emily Breaux made a combined 43 saves over the two losses, 26 agaisnt Concordia.

LC, which went winless in 2010, finished with a pair of wins in 2011, this despite fielding a team made up almost entirely of freshmen.

The Lady Cats also ended a three-year home losing streak and tied the school record for goals scored in a season.
