SEGUIN, Texas – The Louisiana College women had their chances but fell 2-1 in overtime against Texas Lutheran in American Southwest Conference play Saturday.

On the heels of their first win of the season, 1-0 over Schreiner Friday afternoon, the Lady Cats fell behind 1-0 in the first half and pressed the ball close enough to the TLU end of the field to force an own goal by the Bulldogs but fell after an unassisted goal by Samantha Kuykendall  in the 98th minute.

Louisiana College returns home for its next two games, the final two home matches of the year, and will face LeTourneau on Thursday followed by a Senior Night matchup with East Texas Baptist on Friday before finishing the season on the road against Concordia and Texas-Tyler.
