KERRVILLE, Texas - Schreiner University was one-goal better than the Louisiana College men and defeated the Wildcats 2-1 in Friday's American Southwest Conference match.

Schreiner took a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute with a goal by Eric Bello.

Louisiana College tied the score in the 21st minute thanks to a successful penalty kick by David Kamm but Schreiner got a goal from Philip Anderson in the 74th minute to seal the win.

LC keeper John Morgan made seven saves on the match, his first full contest as a Wildcat, after facing 17 shots, nine on goal.

Next up for LC is a 3 p.m. Saturday showdown with Texas Lutheran.
