Box Score
TYLER, Texas - The Wildcats had four players score in double figures here Thursday night. Unfortunately, there was little help from the supporting cast and Louisiana College fell 76-63 to Texas-Tyler American Southwest Conference action.

JeLani Mitchell and Korey Salmon both played all 40 minutes of the game for LC (8-9, 7-6 ASC), scoring 22 and 10 points respectively.

Chukwuma Ekeh added 16 points and Jarrod Jackson 10, however, only Danny Sumner and Shaun Johnson produced any other points for LC (three for Sumner and two for Johnson) in the loss.

With the win, Texas-Tyler (7-11, 6-7 ASC) also managed to close the gap between itself and LC in the ASC East race, in which LC entered the night in third place, just ahead of Mississipp College and UTT.

The Patriots were led offensively by 25 points from Michael Johnson. Brandon Levine added 13 and Lance Murphy 12 in the win.

Next up for LC is a Saturday afternoon visit to LeTourneau in Longview, Texas, for the second half of a two-game conference road trip.
