BELTON, Texas - It was close early on but three second-half goals by Mary Hardin-Baylor gave the Cru a 4-0 win over the Lady Wildcats on Friday.

LC trailed Mary Hardin-Baylor by just one ant the half but were unable to close the gap.

UMHB got goals from Kim Wobecky, Jordan Powers, Laura Baines and Kristyn Rhorick.

The star of the game for LC was sophomore keeper Emily Breaux (Lafayette, La./Lafayette HS) who, in the face of 46 shots by Mary Hardin-Baylor (25 of which were on goal), managed to make 21 saves.

Next up for the Lady Wildcats is a Saturday visit to Howard Payne.
