LONGVIEW, Texas - The LC men broke a 10-game scoreless streak here Friday night, but it wasn't quite enough as the Wildcats fell to LeTourneau 5-1 while the Louisiana College women suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hands of the Yellow Jackets.

In the men's game, LeTourneau scored three goals off of corner kicks in the first half to set up the win.

The good news for the Wildcats was that junior Eric Post was able to score a goal in the 44th minute off an assist from Collin Yammarino to send the game to the break with LC down 3-1.

The Yellow Jackets added a pair of goals in the second session, though, and were able to secure the win, one that came courtesy of two goals apiece fro, Ben Stoeckmann and Patrick Thompson.

LC goalie Filip Linder produced eight saves in the match.

In the women's game, the Yellow Jackets scored two goals in each half to register the win and negate a 17-save performance by LC keeper Emily Breaux.

Jody Lang, Amanda DeLeon, Christine Baker and Chloe Sinclair scored one goal apiece for LeTourneau.

Next up for LC will be a visit to East Texas Baptist on Saturday for the last road game of the year for both the Wildcats and Lady Wildcats.
