BROWNWOOD, Texas - The LC men's and women's soccer teams each suffered a road defeat here Saturday as Howard Payne's men bested the Wildcats 2-0 and HPU's women downed the Lady Wildcats 6-0.

The LC men kept the game close throughout but a goal in the 57th minute by Kori Stone lifted the Yellow Jackets to the victory.

LC goalie Filip Linder, who faced 16 shots on goal, produced 11 saves on the night.

In the women's game, HPU proved a bit much for the young Lady Wildcats.

Sophomore goalie Emily Breaux was the star of the match for LC, though, with 21 saves.
