A veteran of the Louisiana High School scene, Coach Severio comes to LCU with a 30 year coaching resumé. The Past 5 years Severio has been the Defensive Coordinator at Alexandria Senior High(ASH). While there he was instrumental in helping ASH become one of the top 5A schools in the LHSAA. In the 2019 season ASH's defense was the best statistical defense in the state of Louisiana. In 2020 he helped lead ASH all the way to the State Championship Game for the first time. Severio was also the Defensive Coordinator for the Bastrop High Rams, where he helped lead them to deep playoff runs during his two seasons there. Coach Severio has also been the head Coach at Walker High and St. Helena Central High. Coach Severio is married to Rene and has a grown son Tyler.
