Coach Kevin Gautreau Jr, known mainly as Coach Bubba, was a linebacker at LCU from 2018 until the 2021 spring season. He served as a Defensive Line Graduate Assistant for two years before becoming the Linebackers coach in 2023. He is thrilled to be the Linebackers Coach at LCU and looks forward to building on the success. He helped lead the cats to a 7-4 season in 2022, the most wins in 8 years. Â Coach Bubba graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management/Marketing from LCU.Â
Coach Bubba Gautreau is from Donaldsonville, Louisiana where he attended Ascension Catholic High School. In 2017 he played for a state championship where he was the Quarterback and Middle Linebacker for the Bulldogs.Â
