The son of Joey Marks and Tricia and Steve Deville ... Played for Jeff Adams and Terry Mathews at Holy Savior Menard.

2011: Became first LC baseball player since Nick Pontifex in 2003 to be named an All-American ... Also earned All-west Region honors and was the national Golden Glove second baseman ... Batted .340 with 48 hits, 12 homeruns, one triple, 10 doubles, 55 RBI and 46 runs scored. He started all 43 games for LC, led the American Southwest Conference in HR and RBI ... ASC East Player of the Year ... All-Louisiana First Team.

Previous School: Team MVP for LSU-Alexandria in 2008 and 2009 ... All-Conference for LSU-A in 2009.

High School: Multiple-time All-District, All-State and All-Cenla performer ... Member of 2007 Class 2A state championship team at Holy Savior Menard.
