Football Hosts Spring Game, Tennis & Softball Conclude Home Schedules

PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program will have all four spring sports competing for the final time in 2025 as men's golf, women's tennis, baseball and softball each play either on-campus or somewhere in the Lone Star State.
 
Monday, April 7 – Tuesday, April 8:
 
Golfers Cooper Ware and Blake Francis get their final tune-up before the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament (May 4-6) when they spend the beginning of the week in Brenham, Texas for the Blinn Invitational hosted by the community college of the same name,
 
Monday, April 7:
 
(RV) Women's tennis has one more non-conference match left and it could be a huge boost to its at-large hopes, looking to break up the #8 Wolf Pack of Loyola (New Orleans) at 11 a.m. Monday morning.
 
Tuesday, April 8:
 
Softball looks to close their Wildcat Park slate with a winning record for the fourth consecutive campaign, needing only a split against Jarvis Christian to secure it, entering the 3/5 p.m. doubleheader at 7-6 through 13 games.
 
Thursday, April 10:
 
The Red River Rivalry will be a ranked battle (#10 vs. RV) for the first time in its seventh edition on Thursday at 1 p.m. which will double as Senior Day for Alexandra Starkova's lone soon-to-be graduate from Barquisimeto, Venezuela, Patricia Principal Pineda.
 
Friday, April 11:
 
Baseball will travel to Downs Mabson Field to take on the Huston-Tillotson Rams as RRAC opponents for the final time beginning with a doubleheader on Friday afternoon (1/4 p.m.) as HTU will be leaving the Red River to join the HBCUAC effective on July 1.
 
Softball will lock horns with the team that has ended its season in the conference tournament the past two years at 1 and 3 p.m. on Friday when they face heated rival Houston-Victoria at UHV.
 
The 2025 spring football game has announced its date and time as Head Coach Ben McLaughlin's first full season as head honcho concludes on Friday night at 6 p.m. with FREE ADMISSION inside Wildcat Field between the defense (black jerseys) and the offense (white jerseys).
 
Saturday, April 12:
 
The Pineville Nine look to head into Senior Week as winners in 15 of their last 18 (83.3%) if they can pull off the sweep of Huston-Tillotson over the weekend.
 
The ladies will head approximately two hours north via US-183 North and join the guys in the capital of Texas for its last date with the Rams representing H-TU.
