PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program recognizes baseball's Colton Williams and women's tennis' Patricia Principal Pineda as this week's LCU Student-Athletes of the Week.

Williams, a junior from Rayville, Louisiana, recorded the most innings pitched by a Wildcat without an earned run allowed, tossing 4.2 frames of one-run, one-hit, one-walk baseball while leading the team in WHIP (0.43) & striking out a pair.

Principal Pineda, a senior Barquisimeto, Venezuela, helped spur the Court Cats onto their first two conference tournament victories in program history and an RRAC Tournament Championship Match appearance. She went undefeated in her three singles competitions, all on the sixth flight, two of her three doubles showdowns alongside Alexandra Cedeno, and was the clinching point in the RRAC Semifinals that upset top-seeded and ninth-ranked LSU Alexandria for the second time in just over a week.

Baseball participates in an exhibition on Tuesday night at McNeese (6 p.m.) before ending the regular season at home versus Texas College on Friday (12/3 p.m.) and Saturday (12 p.m.).

Women's tennis is in wait-and-see mode for the next week as they will find out whether their season lives on when the NAIA Tournament qualifiers are released on Tuesday, April 29.
