PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program is winding down the 2024-25 season with both softball and baseball getting their final swings in before the conference tournament.
Tuesday, April 22:
Softball will be playing for seeding on Tuesday in the eastern portion of the Lone Star State concluding its regular season at Jarvis Christian with first pitch of the twin-bill at noon.
Baseball will look to punch above its weight class when they face the 29-7 McNeese Cowboys at 6 p.m. for an exhibition inside Joe Miller Ballpark.
Friday, April 25:
The Diamond Cats received an early Easter present Saturday morning when it was decided that the final series of the season would be moved from Tyler, Texas to Billy Allgood Field, starting with a Friday doubleheader (12/3 p.m.).
Saturday, April 26:
One more chance arises for Coach Byrnes' 13 seniors to win on the home turf and end the regular season on a high note, taking place in a single game at noon on Saturday.
