PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University baseball program reached safely 17 times altogether between seven bean balls, seven hits, and three walks but stranded 13 runners on the base paths which cost the Cats a shot at salvaging the series finale, dropping the contest by a score of 6-5.

- Zac Bacilla was one of the few Wildcats to escape the wrath of heat-seeking baseballs, picking up his first career multi-hit game and extra-base knock (the team's only double) in addition to a walk plus a run scored.

- Nick Lorio was the other student-athlete to have numerous base hits, going 2-for-3 with a pair of scores, a run batted in, and a base on balls.

- Colton Williams and Cowan Alfonso combined to sit down the final six Eagles batters in succession on just 13 pitches, the latter of those two registering a strikeout as well.
