MOBILE, Ala. – The Louisiana Christian University softball program mounted another late-game comeback attempt but it was too little, too late as UM escaped once again for the second straight matchup, 3-1.

Wildcats Top Performers:
 

• Caydance Lobdell completed the "Sophomore Hit Cycle" with her first career double while representing the Orange and Blue, putting the seventh inning comeback into motion before later scoring the only run of the nightcap on an RBI-infield single by Emma Hunt.

 

• Hunt played her part as well, reaching safely twice in three tries, both singles.

 

• Bella Houck got on-base two times as well, knocking a ball into the outfield accompanied by a walk down the first base line.

 

• Claire Cullen and Bevan Hartnett rounded out the rest of the hits while Emily Marks notched her first walk as a collegiate player.

 

• On the pitching side of the coin, Morgan Louviere dominated out of the pen, going seven-up and seven-down to register a perfect 2.1 innings.

 
Next:
 

• There will be no rest for the weary Wildcats with tomorrow's road doubleheader at USSA (12/2 p.m.) will wrap up a four-city, five-day road trip spanning from Victoria, Texas to Daphne, Alabama.
