HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Louisiana Christian University softball program saw a similar story play out that it has seen far too often during this slump, superb pitching let down by a lack of hitting in addition to four errors behind them, as the Wildcats were shut out in the series opener at #17 William Carey, 2-0, falling below the .500 mark for the first time since 2023.

Wildcats Top Performers:
 

• Addison Greak dropped to 5-4 through no fault of her own, going the distance (6.0 innings) without an earned run allowed (two unearned), smattering six hits around while not walking any Crusaders.
   

• Mariel Medrano was just about the only positive momentum the bats could put together, collecting two of the visitors' three hits.

 

• Jordan Dauthier smacked the other single and Carley Koch reached on a bean ball.
