Wildcats Top Performers:
Â
- Myah Talbert got to make a lasting memory, recording both her first career hit and RBI simultaneously with her second inning single to left, bringing around Claire Cullen for the Cats' lone score of the twin-bill.
Â
- Carley Koch took a break from the field but not her hitting, cashing in hits during 2-of-3 at-bats.
Â
- Miah Broussard went the entire way in the circle, ceding only two earned runs (three overall) on six hits and a walk, punching out one hitter along the way.
Â
- Cullen put herself in scoring position immediately to set up Talbert, driving a two-bagger to straightaway CF and then moving up 60 feet on a passed ball.
Â
- Mariel Medrano wore a bruise in order for her to make it onto the base paths, then hurt the Eagles with her legs, swiping second in addition to getting a knock in her lone official plate at-bat.
