PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University softball program had a rocky start to say the least as the starter was chased after just one out and the United States Sports Academy sporting a 4-0 edge, but it was all Wildcats from that point forward as they dropped five in the bottom half on their way to 15 unanswered to rout the Eagles in a mercy rule, 15-4 triumph.

Wildcats Top Performers:
Â
- Carley Koch might have single-handedly put the Eagles on the Endangered Species list, doubling her season RBI total in just five innings with a career-best seven runs batted in which she went 4-for-4 with a three-run jack (the go-ahead runs), a two-run double, and a pair of RBI-singles, falling just a triple shy of the elusive cycle.
Â
- Addison Greak came in and cleaned up the mess, finishing the contest in relief with 4.2 frames of scoreless softball with only one hit and two walks surrendered while punching out a personal-record seven USSA hitters.
Â
                        * Greak also did a little damage at the dish with a walk, a knock, and a run scored.Â
Â
- Mariel Medrano was the other lady to drive in multiple teammates, knocking home a pair during a 2-of-3 day with a score and a stolen base.
Â
- Bella Houck reached safely three times, once via a double, once on ball four, and another courtesy of a base knock.
Â
- Jordan Dauthier and Emma Hunt had similarly stellar performances, each going 2-for-4 with a ribbie as the former stole two bags and scored an equal number of runs while the latter swiped second base in addition to crossing the plate once.
